Joins Forrester, Compass Intelligence, AT&T and Verizon to illustrate Atlanta’s important role in machine-to-machine (M2M) innovation

In the “Atlanta as a Hub for M2M Innovation” session, moderators Bert DuMars of Forrester Research and Gerry Purdy, Ph.D. of Compass Intelligence explain how the mobile ecosystem works and why M2M has become a critical concept for business IT, as well as walking through numerous examples of successful Atlanta innovators that are growing in this space. In addition, the group will break down the components of the M2M ecosystem, including platforms for data analytics, sensor networks, mobile applications and important innovation opportunities for the near- and long-term. From there, panelists will walk through a number of M2M applications that are creating real-world value for business today.
